Their integration into the country's economy will strengthen Russia's position in the global digital space of the data economy.

The Forum is dedicated to discussing the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of the data economy in Russia, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, considering possible risks and prospects. Active foresight of the future vision is aimed at ensuring digital sovereignty and supporting domestic software and hardware developers.

The VII International Scientific Forum "Stepping into the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy" will help formulate a long-term strategy for the development of artificial intelligence in Russia, strengthen the country's position in the world and create conditions for sustainable economic growth.

Путин

"I therefore propose that we organize an international foresight in Russia, a strategic session on the future of AI. The purpose of this session would be to reflect on the further development of such a powerful technology. The outcomes of this session would enable us to respond promptly to challenges and risks as they arise. It would also allow us to take advantage of non-standard solutions and emerging opportunities, while also outlining new directions for scientific breakthroughs and partnerships.

AI technologies are designed to become the pivotal resource for achieving national development goals, ensuring the strengthening of the country's defence capability, high-quality development of the economic and social sectors, public administration, and fostering innovation. To successfully meet these challenges, Russia must become a global leader not only in the creation of AI technologies, but also in their wide-scale application and integration into all spheres of life without exception".
