​​​Nowadays providing people with housing is one of the important social and economic problems for any state. The housing market development is uneven, and the pricing is affected by diverse groups of factors, which can have a negative impact on the people’s possibilities. Hence, the analysis of the market and systemic risks that might influence it is quite relevant. In the course of investigation the development of the housing market was analyzed and main forms of its financing were outlined. An important aspect of the investigation was related to evaluation of the influence of systemic risks on growth of the housing market in Russia. Basing on the scenario analysis as well as methods of mathematical modeling the influence of these risks on the prices per square meter of residential real estate in Moscow will be defined and recommendations on mitigation of those risks will be given, with due regard to modeling as well. The result of the work is a model of influence of systemic risks on the housing market in Russia. The methods of historical and system analysis as well as mathematical modeling in economics were employed in the investigation. The results of investigation may be useful for the regulating authorities with the purposes of improving the legal framework as well as analyzing of existing situation in the housing market in Russia in more detail.​​​
