Abstract: This paper examines features of direct trade and industry links of regions as a trend of economic strategy within the regional policy of Japan. Dynamic state regulation of the local market and stimulation of programs designed to encourage money-making contacts of the regions facilitate international integration in addition to strengthening the business and community infrastructure and to increasing the balanced consumption of natural resources. The problem of effective urban planning in prefectures and regions of Japan arises due to the concentration of human resources and high tech manufacture in the hubs and metropolitan districts like Tokyo. The research shows that even though decentralization is a desired trend, still the substantial relocation of funds, investments, and production facilities from the center into the regions is still hypothetical.
