The brief history of the department of administrative and financial law
The Department of administrative and financial law was established in 2013 following changes in the structure of the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics. Previously it was part of the Russian State University of trade and economics. In September 2013 the Department became part of the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics. The strategic goal of studies at the University is to equip the future lawyers and economists with scientific instruments in ensuring effective professional communication
The department has the right to prepare applicants for a post-graduate course on the following specialties:
12.00.04 «Financial law, tax law, budget law» and 12.00.14 «Administrative law and administrative process», and also on master programs: «Legal regulation of financial services», «Administrative regulation of economic relations » and «tax law and tax process ».
Contribution to the development of educational space for the training of highly professional and socially responsible specialists, able to ensure innovative economic growth, who would be competitive in today's dynamic business environment, and, specifically, in the global arena.
The department sets the task of mastering fundamental and applied aspects of legal science that will help study ways of regulation of economic and entrepreneurial relations.
The Department of administrative and financial law is going to maintain close contact with economic and legal departments of the university and to develop its role in scientific and educational life.
