Postgraduate programs

The new Federal law on Education in the Russian Federation, which came into effect on September 1, 2013, changed the format of preparation of highly qualified personnel based on the principle of «preparation on the basis of research».

In accordance with the new law, postgraduate studies have become the third level of higher education, which corresponds to the third cycle programs of higher education in European universities, leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

PRUE postgraduate programs are:

  5. - Processes and devices of food manufactures
  6. - Commodity research of the foodstuff and product technology of public catering
  7. - Commodity research of manufactured​ goods and raw materials of light industry
  8. - Historical science
  9. - Domestic history
  10. - Economical science
  11. - Economic theory
  12. - Economics and management of national economy
  13. - Finance, monetary circulation and credit
  14. - Accounting and statistics
  15. - Mathematical and economy tool methods
  16. - World economics
  17. - Philosophical sciences
  18. - Ontology and theory of knowledge
  19. - Jurisprudence
  20. - Civil law, entrepreneurial law, family law, international private law
  21. - Sociological sciences
  22. - Economic sociology and demography
  23. - Social structure, social institutes and processes

All programs delivered in Russian, but some courses and research supervision are held in English for exchange postgraduate students.

EDAMBA membership is of exceptional importance for PRUE as it contributes to promotion of the best research practices, creates conditions for mobility of doctoral students. Cooperation with EDAMBA enables us to be engaged in collaborative research activities with partner institutions across Europe, including Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, University of Zagreb in Croatia, Bratislava University of Economics in Slovakia and others. PhD students have regular opportunities to access a variety of events such as summer and winter schools, seminars and workshops, annual dissertation theses competitions.
