The goals of the office are:

- Organization of united system of office work, changing of documents in electronic form using an electronic signature;

- Control of timely execution of orders, instructive letters of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, bodies of state power, ministries, Federal departments, orders of the rector, Vice-rectors, orders and instructions of the University, decisions of the meetings;

- Consideration of the requests of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, state authorities, preparation of responses to requests and appeals of citizens and organizations;

- Organization of archive work;

- Providing of management functions of rector and vice-rectors, technical support official functions of the University;

- ​Operation of the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction with the Ministry of education and science;

- Introduction of e-calendars for the events of the university and rector's secretariat.
