Founded in 1907
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (PRUE) is a Federal State Autonomic Educational Entity located in the Center of Moscow. The university was founded in 1907 as the first finance-specialized college in the Russian Empire. During more than 113-year it has become a large university. In 2019 our university was recognized by Global Ranking QS Stars 2019: 5 Stars.
The strategic goal of our university is to build an efficient multilevel system of continuing education in Economics, Finance and meet the needs of the state, society and an individual. Mixing educational, research and development activities gives a wide international and national recognition and provides sustainable development.
Faculty of Finance is one of the oldest and currently the largest faculty at our university. More than 2000 students study and more than 250 experts and professors deliver lectures at the Faculty. The Faculty trains high-class specialists demanded by different governmental financial authorities as well as by the multinational companies. The Teaching Staff of the Faculty of Finance is well presented by acting executives and chiefs of departments of the leading financial companies which are open to share their best practices with students.

The Faculty of Finance offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate level programs. Two programs: Bachelor's Program "Corporate Finance" and Master's Program "Financial Analytics" are fully delivered in English.
In 2020, the Bachelor's Program "Corporate Finance" and the Master's Program "Financial Analytics" received international re-accreditation by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). It allows our graduates to be automatically exempted from F1-F3 and F9 exams (F1 - Accountant and Business, F2 - Managerial Accounting, F3 - Financial Accounting, F9 - Financial Management).
Furthermore, the Master's Program "Financial Analytics" received international re-accreditation by European Council for Business Education (ECBE).
