Founded in 1907
On 18, December the delegation of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics represented by Olga Shemetkova, the Dean of Faculty of Finance and Inga Koryagina, the Head of International Division of Faculty of Finance had the morning meeting with the Administration of University of Reims, Champagne-Ardenne: Thierry Letellier, the first Vice-President of Property, Mary Olivier, the Vice-President of Quality and Training programs and Jean-Luc Petitjean, the Director of the Institute of Finance, Audit and Accounting, who expressed a desire to establish strong and long-lusting relations with Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
During the next meeting headed by Ann Goychman, the Director of International Relations with the participation of Philipp Etimer, the Vice-Dean of International Relations and Christin Butilye, the staff member of International Department , Olga Shemetkova gave a speech about the history of Plekhanov University, introduced the presentation about international student exchange programmes and programmes of a double degree for Bachelor and Master’s Degree students conducted by Faculty of Finance.
During the afternoon meeting at the Faculty of Economics, Management and Social sciences Olga Shemetkova and Inga Koryagina met Giyom Gelle, the President of Reims University, Jean-Luc Petitjean, the Director of the Institute of Finance, Audit and Accounting and Antonin Gadzhanett, the Dean of Faculty of Economics, Management and Social sciences. Questions about further interaction between Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and University of Reims, Champagne-Ardenne including programmes of a double degree were discussed.
During the visit on 20, December O. L. Shemetkova and I. A. Koryagina participated in the International Conference “Modern Trends in Accountancy, Audit and Finances: Franch, Russian and Tunisian experience” and in the inauguration of the Institute of Finance, Audit and Accountancy. I. A. Koryagina conducted an interactive lecture to the Master’s Degree students on “Modern Management Trends in 2019” talking about new tendencies in managing Y and Z generations, development of “soft skills”, and building right interaction between representatives of different countries and nations.
Fatima bin Salama and Samiha Garbi, the Associate Professors of the Highest Institute of Accountancy and Business Administration from Manuba city, Tunis, introduced their programmes on Accounting during the inauguration of Institute of Finance, Audit and Accountancy headed by Jean-Luc Petitjean.
Lyudmila Anatolyevna Zaporozhceva, the professor of Finance and Credit Department and Vladimir Grigoryevich Shirobokov, the professor and the Head of Accounting and Audit Department of Voronezh State Agricultural University named after Peter I spoke about international student exchange cooperation, scientific and international collaborations.
As the result of the meetings, agreements about empowering connections between Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and Institute of Finance, Audit and Accountancy arranged on the basis of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Social sciences of University of Reims, Champagne-Ardenne, development of exchange programmes and programmes of a double degree for Bachelor and Master Degree students, creation of student’s projects on development of “soft skills” for effective cooperation in international business-projects. News about an inauguration of the Institute and cooperation between the universities was published in the L'Union newspaper, Reims, France, on December 21, 2018.
