Founded in 1907
Faculty of Finance is one of the oldest and currently the largest faculty in the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
More than 2 000 students study and more than 250 experts and professors deliver lectures at the Faculty as of January 2018. The Faculty trains high-class specialists demanded by different governmental financial authorities as well as by the multinational companies throughout the whole history of the university rising from The Moscow Commercial College founded in 1907.
The teaching staff of financial faculty is well presented by acting executives and chiefs of departments of the leading financial companies which are open to sharing their best practices with students. Among them are representatives of The Federal Financial Markets Service, "Gazprombank", "Sberbank Rossii", Moscow Exchange group, "Rosgosstrakh" and many others.
The Faculty of Finance offers wide range of undergraduate and graduate level programs, among which two programs (Bachelor Program "Corporate Finance" and Master Program "Financial Analytics") are fully delivered in English.
Students from the Faculty of Finance of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics which studying on "Financial Analytics" master's program in English according to double degree exchange have an opportunity to study during one semester in University of Perugia, Italy. In cooperation with the Faculty of Finance of PRUE, the University of Perugia implements the master's program "Finance and Quantitative Methods in Economics".
Multidisciplinary University, the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne welcomes 25 000 students in 8 faculties, 2 university institutes of technology, 1 School of Engineering, 1 Institute of Higher Technical Training, 1 Higher School of Teaching and Education and 1 institute of vine and wine in Champagne. it includes 30 research teams.
The Institute of Finance, Audit and Accounting of Champagne-Ardenne, Internal Institute of the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Management of the University of Reims, groups the Masters preparing for the professions of finance, accounting, audit and management control.
This Institute aims to:
• Bridging academic and professional worlds belonging to the trades targeted by the proposed Masters,
• Develop partnerships with other French higher education institutions offering training in the same fields,
• Develop exchange and cooperation relations with foreign universities."
In 2015, the Bachelor Program "Corporate Finance" and the Master Program "Financial Analytics" received international accreditation by Association of Certified Certified Accountants (ACCA), which allows graduates to automatically be exempted from F1-F3 and F9 exams (F1 - Accountant and Business, F2 - Managerial Accounting, F3 - Financial Accounting, F9 - Financial Management). Since November 2017, Faculty of Finance is a participant in the educational partnership program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
In January 2018, Bachelor Programs "Corporate Finance" (taught in English), "Corporate Finance" (taught in Russian), "Accounting and Taxation" and "Financial Management" received international accreditation the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), valued till 2022.
Faculty of Finance has got a wide range of partner relations with well-known and respected companies on an on-going basis that allows students and graduates to find outstanding jobs. Among these partners are large commercial banks, insurance companies, exchange groups, such as "Moscow Exchange", KPMG, Alfa-Bank OJSC, "Rosgosstrakh Capital", and plenty of others.
