Academic Department of Financial Management was established in September 2011.
Teaching staff of the department consists of 33 people, including 7 doctors of economic sciences, 17 Ph.D.
Many teachers are active practitioners of the financial markets.
Professors of the department:
- Developing textbooks and handbooks;
- Actively publish the results of their research;
- Taking part in the discussions of topical issues of Russian and international finance at scientific and practical conferences in Russia and abroad.

The department prepares students in the direction 080100 "Finance and credit", specialization "Financial Management"; 080200 "Management" profile "Financial Management"; direction 080100 "Economics" profile "Corporate Finance" and masters in the direction of 080300 "Finance and Credit" profile "Financial Analytics".
The educational process at the department reflects the specifics of the functioning of the financial market, its segments, financial funds, financial and industrial groups and companies, stock exchange, banks, insurance companies and government agencies in a market economy.
We prepare professionals who are able to think outside the box, make independent decisions, who can achieve success, both in the commercial and public sector. Our students receive a broad and thorough general scientific training and specialized skills.
