About the Department

The scholastic team adds up to 50 tutors including 15 Professors

(Doctors of Science) and 27 PhDs.  The Marketing Guild of Russia awarded the Marketing Department of the Plekhanov University for the best educational curriculum among the higher educational establishments in Russia.

 

There were a lot of researches and science projects since that time. Science-based approach of marketing researches made by Marketing Department team gives their partners proven data for decision making process.

Transport department of Moscow government is one of those who authorized MD to make a MR. It is a huge field research project concerning Moscow metro and public transport. Unique Selling Point of this team is possibility to organize a massive field force (due to students) and ability to do it using actual marketing knowledge and technics.


The Department of Marketing works on various distinguished marketing projects. Among the partners of the Department there are government bodies such as Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, Strategiс Initiative Agency, to name but a few; non-government bodies (museums, art galleries); as well as such renown companies as   Nestle Food, Deutsche Bank AG, Microsoft-Rus.

The Marketing Department is also involved in the external and internal audits of the marketing departments of companies, as well as imbeds improvements in the different types of organizational structures, performs all types of marketing staff appraisals, implements ambitious training programs for corporate partners in accordance with reviewed marketing plans, and helps to acquire a CIM professional certificate of  the Chartered Institute of Marketing).


The marketing tutors of the University are often called to the Commercial Courts of Russia acting as the independent and unbiased experts to check the compliance of different manufacturing companies with the Antitrust laws. They also analyze the competitive structures of different markets providing detailed overview and applying various forecasting techniques and computer programs.
