The Department of hospitality, tourism and sports was formed in 2017 through the merger of the departments of hospitality and tourism business management and marketing the sports industry. The Department has 30 teachers, including 6 professors, 15 associate professors, 5 doctors of Sciences, 23 candidates of Sciences. The Department manages candidate of economic Sciences, Professor L. A. Popov. The Department has trained more than 6000 specialists for hotels, tourist and sporting enterprises of Moscow and other regions of the Russian Federation. Graduates of the Department work in such famous hotels as the Metropole, the national, Baltschug Kempinski, the Ritz-Carlton, Swissotel, Ararat Park Hyatt, holiday Inn etc. Tourism enterprises are also pleased to see our graduates. Hotel and tourist business is one of the most attractive and rapidly developing activities worldwide. The number of tourists is constantly growing, there is a need for new hotels, which need qualified specialists.
