The mission of the chair of the Public and municipal administration consists in education and training of the highly skilled managers and analysts who are going to get knowledge and competences of the public and municipal administration's area in accordance with the needs of the state's requirements and the personal needs for getting job in federal and regional public authorities, the local government departments.

The main goal of the chair is ensuring students of all modes of educational process with the latest study materials in the field of the public and municipal administration.

The chair maintain good partner relations with scientific centers and universities of Great Britain (Oxford), Switzerland (IMD), Poland (The Krakow university), the Czech Republic (University of economy and technology) of Germany, the USA, Canada, France, Italy, Finland and other countries. The chair is mastered the international standards of training of highly skilled managers according to the Bologna convention.​​
