About the Department

Founded in 1930, the Department of Industrial Economics is one of the basic and long-running units of PRUE. It is a comprehensive educational and research-driven department with a proud history and an eye on the future.

38 highly skilled faculty members are responsible for more than 20 various courses associated with B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degree programs in economics and management.

The Department of Industrial Economics is headed by Professor Andrey V. Bystrov, D.E., member of a number of academic councils and expert commissions under the research and educational institutions including governmental organizations. His professional and scientific interests comprise the realization of technical and information projects aimed at automatic control systems, communication facilities, radiolocation, radio engineering, etc.
