For students

It is not enough for a modern employer to see in his company specialists possessing theoretical knowledge and a prestigious diploma. Today on the labor market, an integrated approach to solving production problems and the personal qualities of a graduate are appreciated: the ability to work in a team, make decisions and take responsibility for them, think innovatively and creatively. To achieve this level will allow project training.

A new form of motivating students to study is to attract them to work on real tasks, by organizing relevant thematic projects, forming project groups to implement them within the framework of the project finance discipline, taught in masters by teachers of basic international law, the Department of Finance and Economy of China at Faculty of Finance.

The idea of ​​project-based learning suggests constructing instruction on an active basis, through the student’s personal interest in gaining certain knowledge, to achieve the goal (interesting project, workplace, opportunity to show oneself, etc.). An important distinction of training during the implementation of the project is not an assessment of the work done, but an assessment that fixes the solution to the tasks of the project, the degree and quality of its implementation. It is crucial that the problem solved in the project is taken from real life. To solve this problem, project participants apply previously acquired knowledge and obtain new ones.

Implementation of a project is always a collective, creative, practical work designed to produce a specific product or scientific and technical result. Such work implies a clear, unambiguous formation of the task, determining the timing of the implementation of the planned, determining the requirements for the developed object.

A feature of project education is its interdisciplinary nature, when for the implementation of one project a team of students of different directions and different levels of training is formed - engineers, programmers, economists, marketers, designers. A huge advantage of joint activities is the acquisition of student teamwork skills. At the end of the training, “finished projects” and “spin-offs” are formed.
