Orenburg branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics has half a century history of training highly qualified specialists and has established itself as one of the leading universities in the Ural region engaged in training specialists of economic profile, and maintains a steady position in the market of educational services of the Orenburg region, successfully holds the high competition among other universities in the educational space, as evidenced by the demand for PRUE graduates.

Orenburg branch carries out educational activity in full-time and extramural attendance in the following programs: specialty – 38.05.01 Economic security; Bachelor's program – 38.03.01 Economics, 38.03.02 Management, 38.03.06 Commercial matters; Master's program – 38.04.01 economics, 38.04.02 Management, 38.04.06 Commercial matters.
High qualified faculty of the branch ensures the quality of training of students: the faculty and staff with scientific degrees and titles – 83,7%, Professors and Ph.D. titled teachers– 16,4%.
