Plekhanov students take part in the winter schools of the Russian-Chinese association of economics universities in Harbin, China

The winter school, organized by the Russian-Chinese association of economics universities (RCAEU), took place in the Far East polytechnic institute of Harbin (China) during 20-27 March 2019. The project gathered over 50 students from Russian and Chinese higher schools and those from Belgium and Africa.  


The Plekhanov delegation included students of 1-4 years of Bachelor programs of faculty of management, who study Chinese: E. Berketov, D. Gorelova, A. Toporov and S. Tsarapkina. The head of the group was a lecturer of Chinese of Department of foreign languages №1 K. Ageev.


The Vice-rector of the far Eastern Polytechnic Institute, Mr. Jin Tao, opened the winter school with a welcoming speech.


During the educational part of the project, students took part in seminars on the peculiarities of the creation, development, and taxation of Chinese business structures, as well as attended classes in robotics, Chinese language, and calligraphy.


One of the speakers of the international project was the adviser of the Russian Embassy in China, the head of the Russian cultural center in Beijing O. Melnikova.


As part of the cultural program, students got acquainted with this pre-revolutionary Russia in the exhibition demonstration complex of Heilongjiang province, visited the scientific and Technical Museum.

In addition, Russian and Chinese students took part in the mini-Golf tournament, which ended with the victory of the Russian team.




Plekhanov University joined RCAEU in 2013 (since the establishment), implements the agreement with 18 Chinese universities. Students of the faculty of management learn peculiarities of the organization and development of business in China in the framework of the project "Russian-Chinese economic club".
