Delegation of Plekhanov University visits Varna University of Management within an academic mobility programme

​The academic mobility programme was organized by Varna University of management (Bulgaria), which is a partner university of Plekhanov, during September 3-9.

 

Plekhanov University was represented by Dean of Faculty of Management M.A. Ponomarev, leading specialists of International Office A.V. Golubkin and E.V. Tetenkina.

 

The international project also welcomed representatives of Buenos Aires University (Argentina), University of Shkodër (Albany), Alma Ata university of business (Kazakhstan), National agricultural university of Armenia, Vitebsk technological university (Belarus), Belgorod state national research university and Ural state economic university.

 

Training included lectures of leadership and international trends in higher education, discussions and seminars on various topics, and entertainment program.

 

Participants of the program attended a course of lectures in English on "Towards the Entrepreneurial University", carried out by Vice-rector of Varna university professor Vesselin Blagoyev.

 

Plekhanov University's delegation negotiated during the project and discussed the courses of cooperation with colleagues from foreign universities.

 

Within the visit, Plekhanov University signed a dual diploma agreement with Varna University of management.

 

The educational dual diploma programme will be implemented for Bachelor students programme "Management" at faculty of management. Plekhanov students, the programme participants, have an opportunity to receive the diploma of Cardiff University (UK) together with the Varna one.  

 

Following the results of the negotiations held by the Dean of the faculty of management with the rector of the Bulgarian University Todor Radev and the head of the Department of international activities Christina Armutlieva, an agreement was reached on academic mobility of teachers, joint holding of international business weeks and summer schools.
