Summer school at the partner university of the Audencia Business School

WhatsApp Image 2022-07-28 at 09.48.48 (1).jpeg​Second-year students of the Higher School of Finance of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics took part in a two-month summer school at the partner university of the Audencia Business School in the city of Nantes, France from 16.05.2022-08.07.2022.

 

Within the framework of the program, they studied such disciplines as: "Role of Risk in Finance", "International Management", "Digital Communication Strategies", "Psychology of Money and Consumer Behavior", "Data Analysis". The trainings were conducted in English. The Audence Summer School was attended by 270 students from all over 24 countries: France, USA, Russia, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Mexico, Argentina, Japan, China, Korea, India, Lebanon. The lecturers of the summer school were professors from Ireland, Canada, France, Poland.

 

The training program combined academic lectures and seminars with practical visits to international companies, participation in group projects and exciting extracurricular activities. Students also had the opportunity to start learning French.

 

As part of the summer school, students visited French companies Airbus, Électricité de France, Cointreau, as well as local startups, where they were able to be inspired by the success stories of young entrepreneurs.

 

"During my studies at Audencia Business School, I gained useful knowledge and skills in economics and business. I also gained experience working in a team with people from different countries. The summer school gave me the opportunity to master international management skills when I found myself in an international environment. I am sure that this program will be able to interest students and advise them to participate in the intensive summer course of Audencia Business School," shared Kristina Gevorgyan.

International Summer Schools are good steps to get ready to participate in student mobility, double diploma programs and international projects," said Inga Koryagina, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing, representative of the International Office of the Higher School of Finance.
