Founded in 1907
The published in the British Agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds fourth edition of the ranking of universities in emerging Europe and Central Asia QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia 2017, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics took the 83rd position. The rating "QS University Rankings: emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA)" was first published in 2014. In 2017 the published part includes rankings of top 300 universities in the region, located in 24 countries, 97 of them are in Russia, 45 in Turkey.
Among Russian universities this year PRUE ranks 20th. The strongest indicator of the University is the reputation among employers, in which PRUE occupies the 37th place in the overall ranking and 8th place among Russian universities included in the ranking.
The greatest dynamics over the past year PRUE demonstrated by the following indicators: academic reputation (+4 positions) and the proportion of employees with a degree (+13 positions).
MSU Lomonosov takes the first place in the overall ranking, followed by Novosibirsk State University and St. Petersburg State University. RANEPA has taken the position 95, Financial University - 151-160, RSUH - 161-170.
