Rector of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics reports at the panel session within the International Export forum “Made in Russia”

​November 8, 2016 the Russian export centre for the fourth time held the International forum "Made in Russia". The key objectives of the Forum are to discuss topical issues of export policy and development of practical solutions for improving the mechanism of state support of non-oil exports, which will contribute to the increase in supplies of Russian goods and services abroad.


The Forum was attended by prominent figures of the state system of export support – the representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, the profile Ministries, heads of public companies and business organizations, and leading journalists. Representatives of state authorities, Russian business, civic and business organizations, as well as experts in international markets made their reports in the thematic sessions.


The Forum was opened by a plenary session "Russia on the world trade map as a new paradigm of development". It was attended by first Deputy Chairman of RF Government Igor Shuvalov, Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov, General Director of JSC "Russian export centre" Petr Fradkov, and others.


During the session Igor Shuvalov noted that today the export support is one of the priority national projects. He explained that the work is painstaking, but it will allow you to understand what the Government needs to focus on while making decisions. According to Shuvalov, one of the leaders in commodity exports is Russia, but it also should occupy other worthy export niches. The meeting discussed the prospects of integration Russia in global supply chains, international cooperation and integration, the efficiency of the Russian system of export support, as well as a new export format – export services. The head of the REC Petr Fradkov spoke about the role of the REC as a liaison between business and government. He elaborated on project activities, registration in foreign markets intellectual property of the Russian manufacturers, the certification of products in foreign markets, the promotion of high-tech and innovative products.


 In the framework of the Forum there was held the master class of the Educational project of the Russian export centre, and a workshop for certification of products of Russian exporters, as well as several thematic panel sessions: "Search of growth points – the export of services"; "Export of manufactured goods as a factor of formation of Russia's image in the world" (in cooperation with publishing house "Kommersant"); "Education in the field of FEA as a tool to start export activities" (jointly with CCI RF); "E-commerce as one of the priority directions of export".


The rector PRUE Viktor Grishin spoke at the plenary session "Education in the field of FEA as a tool to start export activities" (jointly with CCI RF). The moderator of the session was the Executive Director of "OPORA ROSSII" Andrey Shubin. In his speech, V. I. Grishin told about the objective evaluation of the training program of the Educational project from the position of Rector of one of the leading universities of the country; the opportunities of consolidation of the scientific educational base of PRUE with the expertise of the Educational project of the Russian export centre; perspectives of implementation of joint programs of training the basics of entrepreneurship.


Also there was signed an agreement on cooperation between Plekhanov University and Joint-stock company "Russian export center" (REC). From the University the document was signed by Rector Victor I. Grishin, from the REC – CEO Petr Fradkov. The agreement is aimed at development of cooperation in the field of education, research and project activities with the aim of creating a comprehensive system of professional training for effective implementation of regional development and export activity of Russian enterprises.


Besides, at the event platform there was held an interactive exhibition "It is time to export", designed to demonstrate the potential of Russian non-oil exports, and educational events.
