At Plekhanov Russian University of Economics an international seminar organized alongside Vienna University of Economics and Finance took place

On the 2nd of March at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics an international seminar entitled "The acquisition of vocational and entrepreneurial skills through education of entrepreneurial spirit and advice to aspiring entrepreneurs" terminated. It was organized alongside Vienna University of Economics and Finance. PRUE effectively collaborates with Vienna Economic University for more 11 years. Each year PRUE sends 10 students to Vienna and accepts the same amount of Austrian students in Moscow. Regularly the exchange of delegations for participation in scientific conferences and learning organization of the learning process is held.

 

During the international seminar colleagues from Institute of business-education of Vienna Economic University visited PRUE. They shared with professors of PRUE their developments in the sphere of entrepreneur's preparation. The project was implemented by 19 institutions from five European countries in terms of Tempus IV. The aim of the project- is the development and introduction of the concept of continuous education in Russia through educating of entrepreneurial spirit and consultation of novice entrepreneurs at the base of universities, technical schools and colleges with the support of centers of advanced training of educators, regional trade-entrepreneurial chambers and ministries of education.

 

Results of the project: introduction and modernization of higher education programs on education of entrepreneurial spirit for students of different specialty (economics, technics, languages and others) in volume 20 ECTS; professional development of teachers agencies of higher-education on economic didactics in terms of conferences, consultation seminars and seminars on preparation of teachers of professional development courses.

 

Exchange of opinions was held in a form of seminar, moderator of which was professor Richard Fortmuller, deputy director of the institute of business education Vienna University of Economics and Finance. The seminar was opened by Dmitriy Shtykhno, vice-rector for development of PRUE. The event was visited by more than 30 teachers who actively participated in the discussion. International office also organized meetings and negotiations on questions of cooperation with Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the institute of business education Vienna University of Economics and Finance at academic department of Russian language and culture of speech and the faculty of additional professional education of PRUE.
