Founded in 1907
April 19 2017 the II International logistics Olympiad was held.
Students of leading regional higher institutions and the Republic of Belarus participated in the Olympiad: Volgograd state University, Volgograd University of business, Volgograd branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics; Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno; Belarusian national technical university; Volgograd cooperative institute; Volgograd technical university.
The work of the Olympiad was organized in 2 rounds. The first round was a test on functional areas of logistics, prepared in accordance with the requirements of the European logistics Association (ELA), European certification Board for logistics (ECBL).
In the second round was to solve a complex problem for designing a distribution network company, which includes: defining an item group of products, selecting the most preferred provider, the determination of the optimal inventory control strategy, the formation of the scheme of distribution of goods from warehouse to retail network.
The winners of individual championship: Anastasiya Mezheritskaya and Anastasiya Gudimenko of Volgograd branch of PRUE; Anna Petrovets of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno; Anton Lobach of Belarusian national technical university.
The second place was taken by Margarita Martina and Polina Reshetova of Volgograd branch of PRUE, Sergey Kantemir of Volgograd University of business, Lolita Lutsenko of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
The third place: Victoriya Dorokhina of Volgograd branch of PRUE, Ekaterina Khartanovich of Belarusian national technical university.
In the team competition the winner was the team of Volgograd branch of PRUE. Second place went to the team of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, third place went to Belarusian national technical University.
All the winners of the Olympiad received diplomas and memorable gifts.
