Founded in 1907
October 15, 2019, in Zagreb, at the National University Library, the 15th international exhibition of higher education "Sajam Stipendija" was opened, at which Russia acted as a partner country for the first time.
The education exhibition was organized by the Institute for Educational Development (IRO) with the participation of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Croatia and the Institute for Educational Policy Eureka (Russia is a partner country), the National University Library in Zagreb, and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia.
The exhibition was attended by 11 major Russian universities, which presented their curricula for training in both Russian and English. There were also representatives of educational organizations from more than 15 countries.
As part of the rich program of the exhibition, which was solemnly opened by the Ambassador of Russia to Croatia, Anvar Azimov, Deputy Minister of Education of Croatia Branka Ramlyak and the Director of the Institute for Educational Development Ninoslav Shchukanets-Schmidt, representatives of Russian Universities held lectures and seminars, presented their training programs and research areas. This year's novelty was a business panel with the participation of representatives of leading companies in the Croatian market, such as Rimac Automobili, Infobip, Lukoil and Tele2, who shared their knowledge and experience and told how to integrate the knowledge gained at the university in career building as efficiently as possible.
During the visit to Zagreb, representatives of the Department of International Affairs of the REU met with colleagues from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM).
