Plekhanov students take part in International business week in Greece

From 5 to 10 May 2019, students of Faculty of management, Plekhanov University, Svetlana Dubovitskaya, Ilya Avksentiev, Elizaveta Antimonova, under the leadership of a lecturer of Academic department of organizational and managerial innovations N. Sidorov, took part in International business week in Greece. University of West Attica (UNIWA) was the organizer. The business week highlighted the strategic development plan of Greek economy.


The project gathered over 40 students and teachers from 7 countries: Greece, Russia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland and France.


The program of the business week included visiting Ministry of economy and development of Greece, Athens stock exchange; lectures on the ethic side of business and alternative methods of attracting investment for companies. Senior lecturer N. Sidorov negotiated with the staff of School of business administration, UNIWA, about educational and academic exchange, and incited the foreign lecturers and students to take part in the summer school "Global Strategies in Management and Modern Competition", which is to be in July 2019, and in the Business week in January next year.


The project's participants visited the historical sights of Athens, picturesque islands of Greece, dived into the local culture. During a week, students of multinational teams developed managerial solutions and presented their suggestions at the end of the whole event.


Plekhanov University students were the leaders of their teams, showed a good level of knowledge in the field of management and economics. All the teams received certificates.
