Students of the management faculty of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics took part in International business-week at Czech Republic

​​​​​From 25th to 29th of April an International business-week at Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice (Czech Republic), which is the University-partner of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, took place.


This year, under the leadership of Ekaterina Makhnovskaya, department of organizational and managerial innovations assistant, to represent the University were sent the students of the faculty of management of PRUE: Elnur Babaev, student of the 4 year and students of the 2 year: Yulia Bulankina, Diana Melkumova, Natalia Mikhailova, Elmira Mustafina. Students and teachers from universities at Czech Republic, Netherlands, Russia, Belgium and Latvia took part in the project.


Our students got a unique chance to become first international students who could try their forces in game-stimulator created by Unisim company. The game consisted of five stages each of which lasted for 30 minutes. During this time international team should develop their own product, to establish channels of communication, and also justify different management decisions, previously hosting marketing studies of the target market.


In the program of business-week was stipulated a lot of cultural events, organized by Czech students: excursion around Ceske Budejovice, visit of historical center of Cesky Krumlov, included in the list of objects of UNESCO World Heritage; trip to the world-famous brewery Budweiser Budvar.


On the results of business-week students of the management faculty of PRUE as a part of international teams got the following place: first place on the results of two games got N. Mikhailova; second place on the results of the second game got D. Melkumova, third on the results of the third game got E. Babaev.


To winners and participants of the business-week were presented the certificates and memorable gifts. The result of this event became the development of inter-universal ties, increase of the interest of students in programs of international exchanges.
