Plekhanov Russian University of Economics holds International week of guest lectures

​On April 16-20, 2018, Faculty of Management of Plekhanov University held International week of guest lectures.

 

Students of Bachelor and Master programs attended lessons of leading lectures of the world universities of China, India, Great Britain and Finland.

 

The beginning of the week consisted of lectures by one of the leading European universities, which is Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland), a long-term partner of PRUE. Mrs. Susanna Kivela's lectures were held within an international program "Erasmus Mundus" and were devoted to methods of scenario forecasting, which allow defining the possible trends of situations and estimating the consequences of accepted decisions in order to choose the most attractive management alternative.

 

Professor from University of Manchester, laureate of multiple awards for an invaluable contribution into development of technological innovations, a lecturer from India (New Deli) Mr. Khan Mohsin Ullah held a series of lectures for Bachelor students on the following topics: "Strategies of innovative development" and "International analysis". The professor's lectures went along with the detailed comparative analysis of innovations development in India, China and Russia.

 

Students also met director for relations with Russia and CIS countries of Chinese international association for public relations CIRPA; lecturer of Center for the study of China under Chinese University in Hong Kong Mr. Sun Yue, and a representative of Chinese international association for public relations CIRPA in Russia, vice-president of "Fund of Russian culture" Ya. Rytnikova. The main topic of the binary presentation was communication escort of project management within Russian and Chinese cooperation.

 

An English psychologist and psychotherapist, head of an art-therapeutic organization "Ragamuffin International" Mr. Keith Loring held a lecture for Master degree students of faculty of management (major "Psychology") on the methods of carrying out socio-psychological training. Keith Loring has been training personnel of psychologic and social services in Great Britain, Cambodia, Russia, India, Finland, including master-classes in Germany, Greece, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong fore 20 years.
