Founded in 1907
On April 11-14 2017 the XIX International student advertising festival "Whirligig Constellation" was held at the base of Moscow humanitarian university. Liudmila Kaliuzhnaya, student of Sevastopol branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, has won in the nomination "Advertising video". The work was supervised by associate professor of academic department of management, tourism and hotel business I.V. Zhuravleva.
Over 500 contest works were presented at the international festival in the nominations: print and outdoor advertising, communication project, advertising photography, corporate identity, custom advertising, Internet advertising (communication), audio advertising, video advertising.
In the framework of the festival there were a lot of amusing events: master-classes from well-known advertisers practitioners view the best works of the International festival of creativity "Cannes lions" ("Lions of Cannes", France), events in the Central House of artists on the Crimean shaft, familiarity with best international marketing practices promote a particular tourist areas, lectures on innovation in advertising from leading Russian and foreign specialists, visits to real leading advertising agencies and interaction with advertisers ("Saatchi@Saatchi", "TWIGA", "BBDO", "Friends of Moscow").
One of the key events of the festival was the student scientific and practical conference "Integrated communications: theory and practice", the results of which will be released in a collection of student works. Researches of various topics, taken as a basis of the practical design and advertising solutions, were presented during the conference. Students and practicing experts of marketing, design and advertisement took part in the conference.
The best Russian and foreign advertising and design practices were presented at the exhibition "Moscow Design Biennale" which was held at the base of Central House of artists.
