​On May 17 2017 Academic Department of Catering Business of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics held the V International research conference "Innovation: prospects, problems, achievements".


The reports were presented by: I. Shperle, T. Zhubreva – "National cuisine of Gagauzia"; I. Syvorotkina – "Development of catering business of Ukraine"; S. Eremina, T. Zhubreva – "Peculiarities of foreign tourists' food at various events"; O. Chernova – "Use of untraditional types of raw materials for food production on the example of Ceratonia siliqua"; M. Samoylov – "A hot storage for optimal warmth saving culinary products"; A. Gazhur, N. Guschin – "Vending machines in university food"; A. Sokolov – "Ways to improve food safety systems based on raw materials of animal origin", M. Kipnis – "The role of boiled butter in human nutrition and a historical retrospective of its' production technologies"; V. Filippov, V. Yusim – "The problem of accelerating economic development and opportunities"; V. Strakhova, N. Akimova – "Innovational directions in the food industry development".


Professor A. Gazhur was the conference's moderator. The event was attended by instructors, post graduate students and students of PRUE, representatives of Moscow state university of Civil Engineering and others. An active part in the reports' discussion was taken by: professor M. Botov, associate professor S. Oskolkov, professor M. Belyaeva, associate professor A. Sokolov, professor S.
