Earlier this April, the 17th International conference "Cultural sensitivity and the local investment in business and education: how to build a business in the era of de-globalization?" has taken place in Casablanca (Morocco). The Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) organized it.
Head of IBS-Plekhanov's department Galina Evlampieva took part in the conference together with representatives of business schools from 18 countries.
Professor Dipak C. Jain, European president of CEIBS, Professor Tim Mescon, acting vice-president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa of AACSB International and the others presented their reports at the conference. They discussed the relevant issues of involvement of business schools in the training of highly qualified specialists with cross-cultural competencies. Representatives of HR departments of international companies talked about trends in human resources, the development of international teams in companies for the purpose of effective activities of organizations.
The chairpersons of BMDA and AABS, Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas and Dr. Ali Elquammah signed a cooperation agreement.
