Founded in 1907
On April 4 2017 at the territory of MEC "Crocus Expo", Moscow, the final of the IV International culinary championship "Chef a la Russe" was launched. For the first time the championship "Chef a la Russe" welcomed juniors, students of profile educational institutions competed in the "Black box" category.
The competition was attended by teams from Moscow, Perm, Nizhniy Novgorod, Tsaritsyno, Vladimir, Yekaterinburg, Murom, Alma-Ata, Astrakhan, Voronezh and other cities.
The juniors faced a tough challenge: to make a technological map in 20 minutes and cook the main course in 3 portions in 70 minutes, strictly following the set recipe.
Perm Territory was represented by a team of Perm branch of Plekhanov University. Students successfully overcome the nervousness but 10 rival teams as well.
Representatives of Perm branch of PRUE Dmitriy Malshakov, Akhmed Okhunov took the first place at the championship "Chef a la Russe" in the "juniors" category. The students-technologists of Perm branch traditionally take prize places at the most prestigious all Russian and international culinary contests and fests.
Students ' success is the sign of high professionalism and experience of instructors of the Department of technology and organization of food and service, which in 2015 became the laureate of all-Russian contest of the Russian Academy of natural Sciences (ANS) "Golden Academic Department of Russia".
