The British rating agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds has published the next issue of the institutional rating of the best universities in the world.
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics ranked 701-750 in the QS World University Rankings 2022, improving last year's result by 50 places. The growth of the university's position was ensured by the improvement of the indicators "Academic Reputation", "The ratio of the number of scientific and pedagogical workers to the number of students", "The share of foreign students".
Over the past year, the number of citations of works published by PRUE teachers has increased by 70%, taking into account the normalization, the citation index for the past period is 10.3 citations per NPR, in the last rating it was 8.1.
This year, the QS institutional rating includes 1300 higher education institutions from 97 countries, 145 universities entered this rating for the first time. 6415 educational institutions were allowed to participate in the surveys, 1705 of them were included in the sample for analysis.
Of the 48 Russian universities included in the ranking: 10 universities improved their positions compared to last year, 13 universities decreased their positions compared to last year, 9 universities retained their last year's positions. Another 16 Russian universities entered the rating for the first time.
