Faculty of Finance continues its cooperation with CIMA - Certified Institute of Management Accounting Specialists 

On April 5th, 2021, a meeting was held between the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and representatives of CIMA. From the side of the dean, the meeting was attended by the Dean Olga Shemetova, and Vice Deans: Kozmas Afanasiadi and Inga Koryagina. From the side of CIMA, Tatyana Vladimirovna Degtereva, Business Development manager CIMA, Eurasia, took part in the negotiations. 

Certified Institute of Management Accounting Specialists is an institute specializing in the development of accounting technologies for internal control and management in production, service and public organizations. It was founded in 1919 with the headquarters in London, Great Britain. 

 The Faculty of Finance started cooperating with CIMA in 2018 and accredited its undergraduate programs in this professional organization. 

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on the re accreditation  of the programs till 2024 on special conditions for the students of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. 

Also, CIMA representatives proposed to make the Faculty of Finance a platform for preparing university students for passing CIMA professional exams.
